Most facelifts dissect through the middle of the
subcutaneous layer to save time.
In such cases, blood vessels in the subcutaneous
layer may be damaged, and if too close to the skin
layer, unevenness or skin damage may occur.

uniformly along just above the SMAS layer and
performs immediate hemostasis when bleeding
occurs, enabling rapid recovery.
The incision naturally follows the front and back of the ear.
When the fascia (SMAS) is lifted, the amount of skin excision increases proportionally—
typically 1cm, sometimes over 2cm is removed.
Without touching the muscle, only the SMAS layer
above the muscle is pulled.
If you’ve had thread lifting before, threads deeply
embedded below the fascial layer are removed
one by one while carefully checking to prevent
unevenness.
